BES 3.6SP1: Unable to update to SP2a, Wizard interrupted!

Hi all! :)

My Problem:

I received the following error, when installing BlackBerry Enterprise Server version 3.6 Service Pack 2a:

"The wizard was interrupted before the Blackberry Enterprise Server could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run setup again."

There is absolutely no logfile or any other hint I could follow. The RIM knowledge base offers a bunch of solutions

but none worked for me. Any ideas, folks?
