Ya.. you get to keep using your CPU longer and don't have to keep replacing them due to burnout from overheating. Need anymore reason than that?? Just unhook your fan and heatsink and stock up on CPU's. They ain't cheap.

The government's super computers are cooled with liquid nitrogen. Fast CPUs produce a lot of heat and if they aren't cooled they melt.

I think he said it as well as it can be said. Longer lifespan.
