being asked to "download" page

I've created an update page with a link I assumed went back to the homepage - home.asp. However, there must be an error with my site set-up or urls somewhere as I'm being asked whether I want to download or open the page (which then reopens ultradev!).

what yhave I done wrong?

If you mean in preview - don't worry about it too much. I have the same thing happen on my end.

Once I've saved the page - then create links or insert objects it seems to work ok - but .asp extensions still are odd.

Upload it, all should be great.

thanks. I found it was the links - I had some pointed to urls, some pointed to pages in the same site - it was an absolute mess!
