I am about to undertake the CCNA course & exam. Can anyone suggest a router that I can use for home config on high bandwith line.

Also any tips would be gratefully recieved.

If you can get your hands on an older 2524, or better yet a 2620 that would be good. You don't necessarily need to connect it to anything though, I'd just console in and get a good idea of the different modes (user vs. priveleged, etc.) and try commands you see in the books. If you're taking a class, their lab (along with some reading on your part) will be enough for you to get by on and take the test. Good luck!

Might be worth buying/expensing the Cybex CCNA study guide, it's less dry than the Cisco books, and you get a reasonable exam generator on the CV.
Enjoy!
