Beginner - Brio Explorer - MS Access

Step1 :
Firstly configure the data source@as a system DSN within the opertating system, (Control Panel - Administrative Tools - ODBC Datasource administration)
Step2 :
Start Brio(You are using Brio.Explorer I presume
Start a new document.
Select: A New database connection file / this will bring up the database connection wizard.
USING the wizard ..
For a registered mdb datasource, select ODBC for both connection software and database type.
Click Next
Select the database(You created the name in step 1 within ODBC Datasource administration)
Enter any passwords if required
Click Next
THATS it!
Click Finish ..
It will promt you if you wish to save the oce file.
Happy Querying ..
Once you get into it, I think you will find Brio an excellent tool. ------------------------------
