Hi all,
I have a VDN in Definity; the VDN no. is 1155.
This number can be Directly dialed in.(DDI).
So, you dial from outside 555-1155 and you are now
in this VDN and its related vector.
My problem is that when I dial 1155 (from inside),
everything is OK, but when I dial from outside 555-1155,
it does different things. Sometimes it gives me treatment
tone, sometimes it rings. So the call is doing different
things before following the 1155's vector steps, and never
goes into the vector.
What can be the problem ?

Hi,
Have you checked the trunk form (page 3) to make sure that you do not have some digit handleing in there which is preventing the call arriving at the vector? also try list trace vdn 115, and lsit trace vector to track the calls progress.
Hope this helps
Nick.

Perhaps the DDI range is available through more then one trunkgroup. If so, check the call handling in the trunkgroups and make sure they are all the same.

Hi again,
There is no problem when dialing 555-1154 or 555-1156.
The problem is just specific to 555-1155.
Also when ý try to type list trace, there are 2 options,
...station and tac...

Any idea for this ?

use the tac option and specify the tac for the particular trunk group. Also especially as the 1154 and 1156 numbers work OK, check the trunk form for a specific mention of 1155
The list trace tac will give you bundles of stuff for the whole trunk group, you will have to watch for the number 1155 in the output.

using "li trac vdn 1155" and trace it has any different between Internal and outside call

Hi 44,
The company which installed Definity fixed the problem
and they said that the number 1155 was forwarded to 1050
and that they disabled the forwarding. Now it is working
fine, but ....
1) Before they fix the problem I looked up in the system
with the command "list call-forwarding" there was no
forwarding about 1155.
2) They said "you cannot see all forwardings by looking
with 'list call-forwarding' command" ??? So, this means
you can see call forwarding with other methods also.
And they didn't said how they fixed the problem because of
the Service Level Agreement between them and us.
3) After they fixed the problem I looked up via
"l trace tac 10" and there was a 6 line trace and
there was no number like 1155.

Do you have any idea about they said in 2) ?

have a look at 'list hist' to see what happened, you might see something that points you in the right direction.
