be9.1 getting cancelled when second tape is inserted

I have a server in Europe running on NT4 sp6a with BE 9.1 rev 4691. Up to 6/17, everything was going great. Starting on 6/20, it started acting funky. The backup job uses 2 4mm tapes. Our local tech is saying that once she inserts the second tape the following day, the beengine stops, cancelling the job.The job monitor is showing 0 elapsed time and 0 bytescount. I can see that the first tape is being written normally. But once the job is cancelled the following day, it has 0 bytes and 0 elapsed time.
