be9.1 does not recognize my dvd rom drive 2

I have just installed vertias backup exec ver 9.1
Tried to configure devices but no recognition

Cottongin -is it a DVD-+R drive or a DVD-RW, or DVD-RAM - you won't be able to use a DVD-R drive as backup exec when it writes to the disc, needs to continally delete (I think) they are end of file markers, or something similar.
