Netware 6.0 sp4
Using seagate scorpion autoloader
backup exec 9.1 for netware build 1154
When starting backup exec get the following message:
did not detect any physical or shared storage devices

1. Unloaded be (bestop) unloaded adaptec driver, scan for new devises, list storage adapters.
2. Reloaded adaptec card, list storage adapters shows the card and the associated tape drive.
3. Reloaded backup exec, still the same error
4, Tried a bediag /s /c and it shows the card and tape drive fine
5. Unloaded be and adaptec driver. Also unloaded all tsas and smdr. Recreated smdr and reloaded tsa600 and tsands
6. Reloaded backup exec, still gets the error.
7. Recycled the tape drive and reloaded card and be, still gets the error.
8. Rebooted the server and restarted, sitll gets the error.

I can tell that the server, card and tape drive are connected as they see each other but for some reason Backup Exec is unable to do so.

Please help!!!

Thanks.

NWASPI.cdm is not located on this server at all.

It's on your DOS partition at C:\NWSERVER\DRIVERS.
You should be able to load it directly from the console with
LOAD NWASPI.CDM

That driver has been included with Netware since 5.0.
