BE does not recognise tapes

We recently migrated to using BE 10d from NT back up.

I have installed BE v10d, following a passed environment check. when trying to run a job, it does not recognise the tapes that were used with NT backup.

So for tonight i decided to revert to our old method of backing up using NT back up and that did not recognise the media either.

Can anyone please advise.

The tapes are Travan TR40 by Dell.

have you created a media set in Veritas also deleted the tapes?

A quick erase on the tape as fixed my problem many thanks
