BDC cannot see PDC, but PDC can see BDC

My BDC has been up and running for months. All of a sudden when using Server Manager or User Manager it cannot find the PDC. Server Manager from the bad BDC shows the PDC computer as a Backup Server. Other BDC's and the PDC show it rightfully as the PDC.

The bad BDC can see the PDC computer through network neighborhood and by pinging. Other BDC are working fine. I re synchronize successfully and created a new machine accoung using procedure Q137987 from Microsoft with nothing gained. Any ideas?

I solved my problem...the NETBEUI protocol had been removed from the "bad BDC". Once it was reinstalled the BDC was able to operate the User and Server Manager programs.
