BDC AD & SRV records

I am presently trying to setup BDC, but during AD setup the system reports it is unable to locate the PDC. The DNS is setup on a unix system & the pdc DNS is setup as secondary dns server. The PDC has pulled the dns data across the network from the primary dns(unix), but the BDC AD will not install due to it not being able to see the PDC?

Any ideas?

You may need to update the version of BIND on the unix box to one that supports service records or consider moving the DNS primary to the 2000 box.
