BCMS Server Error 1

hi

got an odd error message when i tried to start our BCMS server

the message is:

the servie omninames.exe is not operating. The service is essential for the correct operation of the program. If you can restart the service then do so then click retry else click cancel

cannot retart the omninames, and a reboot did not help either

anyone come across this one before?

 

[ideal]

1. Open C:\ProgramsFiles\Lucent\BCMS Vu\Common.
2. Double-click on ConnectionServer.exe.
3. Open the TaskManager (Ctrl-Alt-Del) and verify that
ConnectionServer.exe isrunning.
4. Close Task Manager.
5. Double click onomniNames.exe.
6. Verify that omniNames.exe is running, (step 3) and
close Task Manager
