just wanted to know ,how many R2mfc Pri modules can I install and have working on a bcm 450 ?......just wanted to expand the trunks past 50 at least!!

Max out at 3 ISDN PRI = 23 x 3 = 69 channels

what I'm using is the PRI E1 modules R2MFC ...30 channels per module

I am a Yankee so don't have E1

We have 3 US PRI modules running fine on BCM450 as long as you setup the network clock correctly.

Maximum number of extensions of any type = 300
Maximum number of trunks of any type = 130
according to the spec

You should be fine with 3 R2mfc Pri modules

thanks folks...BTW can I have multiple number ranges on one BCM 450 ...for example dn's 3100-3199 and 4100-4199 etc ....

how do i get all DN's to go past 200 DN's??

you need a CEC cardinstalled in the Base function tray to increase the capacipty from 100 extns 60 lines to 300 extns 120 lines.

Yon can can only see the extns you have configured as the 450 extns are configured buy you.

Change the DN length to 4
This effects mailboxes so your bet to rebuild mail.
