I have a BCM200 that was removed from service 1.5 years ago. I now have a need for that BCM200. I do not know what version the BCM200 is running.

I have tried a null modem cable and a cross over cable to get any information out of the BCM200.

I can not even get a prompt to be able to get logged in. Is there a way to factory reset the BCM's configuration without being able to log into it?

Negative. You need a crossover on LAN2, at 10.10.11.1. Can you ping?

I can not ping.

I tried 10.10.10.1 and 10.10.11.1 while plugged into LAN 2.

From the Nortel Logo LED to the LAN2 LED are all flashing green.

Might be a bad BFT. Open front and see if the capacitors are blue (good), green (bad).

Is the hardrive spinning. Might be the hardrive went south.

Sounds like it does, but can't be sure. I found a vga port, I'm plugging in a monitor now.

Interesting, after plugging in the vga and watching NT4 sp6 boot, I get the error dynamic link library winsrv could not be found in the specified path Default Load Path

Then it goes to a Memory dump. Seems I have a crapped out HDD.

Where can I get the software to reload?

There are some HD's with 3.7 software on Ebay.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.
