BCM name change?

Are there any reprocussions from changing the system name on a BCM 400? Running 3.6. I have not heard good things about changing names on servers.

No big deal changing the name as long as the system isn't part of a domain. If you're using TAPI or Unified Messaging or anything else that may be speaking to the BCM by system name, be prepared to adjust those apps. If not, change the name, reboot when prompted and you're done.

I actually had one of my techs do this yesterday and everything went fine. Change the BCM name, reboot and all should be fine.
