We have 3 BCM's and an M1 with an ITG card using VOIP trunking. Our network administrator has said that the IP addresses in use by this group of equipment is exibiting signs of our latest viruses.
Anyone else hear of this? I have disconnected the trunks until we discover the cause of this heavy traffic.
Thanks in advance for your comments.

Cheeses, some information that I have seen from Nortel on other forums says the BCM's will not be impacted, but I'm not 100 percent convinced.
Please let us know what you find on this.

We received notification from our provider that the problem was fixed. I plugged the network connections back in and every thing seems to be ok.
They said the problem originated with the ITG card. A software patch was downloaded and the problem should not occur again.
Why do answers with very little real information make me nervous?
Our network administrators will keep an eye on it to see if the problem returns.

I was told there is somekind of software patch for the 3.0.

I was also told there is some other problem I'm not sure if it's for 3.0 or 3.5 that would require the replacement of the MSC. Which isn't too pretty. (Supposedly besides phsically changing out the MSC, restarting with no MSC, restarting with new MSC, then it would require regenerating the keycodes for the system, once the new MSC system ID is obtained, install those codes, then reload your software, & of course the worst part-all the retesting).
