BCM 450 6.0 ip phone issue

Hi All,

Having an issue with recently upgraded BCM 450, I have about 90 digital sets 2 pri s and 16 ip phones. try to register 17th ip phone and no matter what I am getting invalid dn. I have 22 ip clients in the system so it is not a license issue. strange thing is I have a ton of incative application dns but no available ip phone ports. Any come across this before?

I'm trying to remember I went thru this. Have you tried going to the aps and extending the max for the resource.

have allocated the IP phones in resources to allow more than the default 16 sets.

Go to telephony resources and increase the range to say 30 ip phones

Snowman: if I go into telephony resources and go to ip sets and click the configure button to add additional ip sets, will that wipe out ip sets i have configured alresdy?

no!!!
I am sure it will give you the next number from the last ip phone.
eg: existing IP phone 301 to 316.

when you need to add more the next one will start from 317 and you tell it the last extn you want. EG:317 then last extn 330 .

the resource should show 301 to 330 when finished.
