We were experimenting with radius authentication on one of our systems. We managed to lock ourselves out of local and radius authentication.

Is there a way to reset the password? Can a vendor or Nortel do this? I have a recent backup. Can I simply image the disks with 4.0 and start fresh?

you can also do a level 2 reset if you dont mind loosing your data.

I don't mind losing the data. It's just a lab system. How would I do a level 2 reset?

On Bcm400 4.0 you can have Nortel reset the password for you($$$) or simply re-image your drive.

Re Image your hard drive, in BCM 400 there's no reset procedures, those procedures are avaliable only on BCM 50 or BCM 450.

bb ^^
