Bcak Exec 8.6 Failed--pls help

Hi,

I am new in administrating backups. We have veritas backup exec 8.6 intstalled on windows 2000 server and managing backups on remote computers in domain. Everything was working fine but for the last two weeks all the backup jobs from remote server is failing. I get error "backup failed unable to connect to <name of server>".

Please let me know from where to start to troubleshoot this propble.....please help this new person

*I assumed that you have installed remote agent on the client.

1 You could reinstall the remote agent
2 Try to check for the service account that you are using
