I have a column filled with hyperlinks to files contained in a folder.

The location from the folder having changed I would like to adapt all the hyperlinks for the new location without editing each link.

How can this be achieved?

Many thx

Find and Replace from the Edit menu will do this - just be careful about your changing text.

Failing that, you can use Edit->Links and change the links from there.

In both cases, I'm assuming you have multiple links to a single folder, and this folder has moved. If each link is to a different place, you will have to carry out the task manually.

Cheers,
Dave

Thanks Dave,

I already tried Find and replace, but it didn't work ( does not find...)

I also changed the " look in" option but to no avail.

As for the "links..." menu, it is greyed out.

Assuming excel: in File, Properties, Summary tab, there a place to enter a Hyperlink base.

You can normally use Edit | links... to see how many external links there are in your workbook. If this menu item is disabled (grayed out), that usually means there are none.

You can try Jan Karel Pieterse's Name manager add-in or Bill Manville's Findlink add-in. Maybe you'll get better results with one of these. Both are free and can be downloaded from the Excel MVP page:
Cheers
