Can anyone tell me if I can convert a basic disk to a dynamic disk witout losing any of my data that is on the drive?

Why do you want to convert to a dynamic disk?

I'm Certifiable, not certified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.

Conversion from basic to dynamic is a one way conversion that does not lose your data.

Converting back to basic from dynamic requires wiping the partitions, re-formatting the drive, etc., and you lose everything. Is there sone special reason you want to convert? If not, then don't!!!!
