I have Access 2000 and need to stream data to a printer. I have my print routine set up, all except the actual command to send data direct to a printer.

E.g. If I wanted to send "Hello World" to the printer, what command(s) would I use?

Thx

2 ways I'm familiar with are the

Docmd.openReport "rptSales",,acViewNormal

or

Docmd.PrintOut...

But these methods, print existing Objects in the Database.

otherwise i think you may have to create a file, then use the Docmd.PrintOut Method.

Outside of that, I wouldn't know how to send a "Stream" to the printer.

good luck, either way!
