I currently have a g3si in one of my locations and a Nortel option 11c which is ip enabled.
What I’m looking to do is ip enable my pbx and for step one qsig into the Nortel. I have r11 and have the basic ip options turned on but am missing the hardware to get it going. I am looking for some sort of upgrade path to do ip calls over a wan/internet and then also from the switch to the end user. I will also be brining up 2 small call centers outside of the country and be able to use ip to transfer to and from them.
So can I get away with popping a c-lan and medpro card in my pbx and I will be okay or do I have to move toward an s8700. in addition does anybody know a vonage type service for call centers where I could get 2 ip t-1 and they would do the switching at the far end CO in essence getting rid of most of my LD charges.
TIA
