Basic Business Objects material

Hello,
I am very new to Business Objects. Can someone tell me where I can find some basic material about Business Objects? If I want to get basics about Universe Designer, Reports wizard, creating universes, generating basic reports and an other basic stuff. I would be very grateful if someone can guide me on this.

Hello rthumu,

I presume you have BO already installed somewhere. While installing you can choose to install the - better than average - pdf guides that go with every module. They are actually quite extensive and are certainly of value for newcomers. Apart from that, on the corporate BO site there is a section about tips&tricks (

with specific issues about universes and reports.
Their site offers various other ways to acquire documentation.
