Base paging over speaker phones

We just upgraded our Definity G-3 to ver.11. We are wondering if it is possible to perform base pages and have it come over our digital phones? If so, how would we set up those extensions in the switch?

You should be able to add paging groups. The command is "add group-page x". Give it an extension, and then enter in all extensions you'd want the page to play on. It will play over their speakerphones. There is a limited amount of extensions that you can put in one page group, so sometimes you have to split the company up into a few different "zones". To page, you would just dial the extension of the paging group.

I believe that you are looking for "Group-Paging". Just use the command Add Group next. You can have a maximum of 32 digital or IP stations in a group. Stations can be part of more than one group.
