Hello:
My question is, I have a Meridian Option 11c with a E1 to other PBX. When I want to talk with the people of other PBX, I dial *2 + XXXX + 888 + extension number of other PBX.
*2 is for entry the account code for LD.
XXXX is my account code.
the first 8 is for AC2. This AC2 take the E1 TIE.
Where AC2 have 10 SPN (0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 8). This SPN have RLI 12 and the RLI 12 have the route 7. Route 7 is the trunk group of E1 between Meridian and the other PBX (Panasonic Kx-TD500).
I don't know why the next 88.
In Meridian the extension's are 4000's and in Panasonic are 5000's.
In the PBX Panasonic I did the configuration. I just add in dial plan, extensions of other PBX (41,42,43,44,45,46,47,48 and 49) and in a Choice of Panasonic add the following:
41 go to Trunk Group 2 (Trunk Group 2 is the E1 TIE)
42 go to Trunk Group 2
43 ...
..
..
49 go to Trunk Group 2.
When I want to talk from Panasonic to Meridian, I dial only the extension number.
I want to do the same with the Meridian. but I dont'n Know.
First, What mean the 88 after of 8 (AC2)?
Second, How can I insert or delete digits for AC1 or AC2.
Can somebody explain about this.
