I need to create program for tracking incoming merchandise.
Project will capture data from keyboard. I need help, how transfer this data to barcode, print barcode, and scan barcode back to table. If anyone knows where to start, I will be really appreciative.

What we used at a previous job was a barcode font for printing. These are easy to use, you just select that font to print instead of say, Courier, when you're designing your report or label layout. You can purchase bar code readers, like the handheld ones in the stores, that connect between the pc and keyboard so that when you pull the trigger, it scans the barcode it stuffs the keyboard with what is printed on the barcode.

I think you can set your bar code scanner to include a CR or
some key-strokes so as to simulate a keyboard input instead
of software programming it. The bar-code software has done
this part, you don't have to worried about it with your
software.
