Banner help needed

I need to print out a banner, about 12 inches high and 8 or so feet long. What is the best way to do this? Which Office product should I use? My attempt at using PowerPoint failed mierably. Thanks,

The Office product that should best suit your needs is Microsoft Publisher. Choose banners from the Publications by Wizard. Choose Custom from the Banner Wizard to set the size you desire. If you prefer more detailed instructions, be sure to let me know.
