A bank entry for deposit was made but was posted to the wrong income account and the batch has been posted in GL. The bank statement has been reconciled. What is the correct way to reclass the accounts. Should it be done through a GL entry or should it be done as Bank Entry.

It went to the wrong GL income account so I would simply do a GL journal entry since this does not affect the bank.
