Is there anywhere in the trunk group form (in an S8730) that would tell me the bandwidth available? I am looking at an IP trunk to find out what the total bandwidth of the link is, and well...not there.

Bandwidth question

If you correctly set up your IP Network Regions in the architecture of sites and links you can status the ip-network-region to determine how much bandwidth/calls are in progress. This does not tell you how much bandwidth is available over the LAN/WAN. The LAN/WAN bandwidth should have been calculated for the expected load and QoS set up to prioritize the RTP traffic based on the calculated load. As noted above this is based on the specific bandwidth and methods of encapsulation on the network. As a general rule of thumb you can use 84K for G.711 and 27K for G.729 multiplied by the number of channels in the trunk group to calculate the amount of bandwidth to plan for. Actual bandwidth should be lower. Typical G.729 runs in the 19 to 22K range.
