I appologize to everyone for posting something that I see plenty of information on, but I want to make sure my issue isn't different. I'll preface this with...I'm not an exchange or even server admin. Just a lowly web developer.
Basically I've got tons of emails showing up in the badmail folder. The difference is from most of these other threads is that I don't have any kind of exchange server installed, it's strictly using SMTP.
I've done the following to SMTP:
In the relay restrictions settings, I checked 'Only the list below' and I have nothing in there and unchecked the 'Allow all computers...'.
In the authentication settings, I've got Integrated Windows Auth checked and nothing else.
In the connections settings, I've checked 'Only the list below' and added my server IP.
There were like 10 current sessions open with addresses that I didn't recognize, so I killed them all.
After all this, I'm still getting bad emails.
Please help! I'm at a lose.
Thanks much!!!
