I am working an a Dell Inspiron 8400 with XP SP2 that would not boot up, it would come up the the BSD that would give the message "Bad_Pool_Caller". So I tried booting to recovery counsel but it askes for the admin password and the customer can't seem to remember what it is. So I then tried to do a windows repair installation and with 25 minutes left on the install it will go into the BSD with the same error message. I found a post on here that said it may be bad memory so I replaced the memory and yep you guessed it! Same BSD and same message.

Any Ideas of what else to try?

THANKS A MILLION!

If it matters I was wrong it is a Dell Dimension 8400.

Some of the suggestions to fix this include recreating your Paging File. Are you running anything with Adware in it like Kaaza that you may have removed the adware part? Have a read of these for further information.
