seem to have loaded the wrong ATi video driver event hough it was supposed to be compatable and now my monitor had truncated itself and is not well... have removed offending driver but now knackerd monitor. It is unfortunatley an unknown monitor... tried ot on laptop still not well.. is there anyway of resetting the manufacturers defauls easily ?

Not really sure what the problem is here but I would go into the device manager, remove/delete the reference to the monitor and then reboot windows and let it find the monitor itsself.

unfortunatley it is not the hardware that is screwed some how it has changed the refresh rate or something in the actual monitor.. because it is the same when I plug it into my laptop....

Which is a bit of a bugger...

Thanks anyway

Any other ideas ?
