bad hop count

on the show ip traffic command i get an output about BAD HOP COUNTS - couldnt find anything on cisco tac to explain that. the output interpreter didnt have no indication on that too. does any of you know what the bad hop count means?

Try increasing the ttl at the sending node.

i was referring to this..

IP statistics:
Rcvd: 3460279287 total, 79476069 local destination
25 format errors, 31 checksum errors, 720089 bad hop count
404 unknown protocol, 45 not a gateway
0 security failures, 0 bad options, 884626 with options

but i guess the bad hopcount was not the problem....thanx
