Bad Command-Previous Post 1

I know this question has been addressed before but I can not find the post! When Win 95 loads on my homebuilt, I get a message that I need to enter acommand interruptor (or something similar) such as Command.Com right after Win 95 appears to have loaded (the Windows screen comes up). Entering Command.Com or any other command for that matter does nothing. I would appreciate being referenced back to the Post on this question. Many thanks! Happy Thanksgiving to all.
