don't see the purpose in going that far....I always just use the following: "format c: /u /s /c"<br>
ot format the drive as bootable, w/o back-up unformat data, checking all sectors & rewriting the bad sector table....much faster than going through & low-leveling, then re-fdisking, then formatting.<br>
