Okay, I'll just keep this group lit up.

Currently using Veritas/Symantec BackupExec. Again, long time user of the software...

What are you using for this end.

Funny, MS must be getting kick backs from everyone, since the last verison of everyone's software doesn't work with the new Exchange... New hardware, New OS, New Server, New Blackberry Server, New AntiVirus, New Backup... I somehow feel like I am paying the mafia....

Tragically, another vote for 11d. ntbackup works nicely though.

Remember that Exchange is 64 bit on 64 bit so the 32 bit backup apps will need changing.

Are you implying that the backup server/app needs tweaking for the 64? or that 11d is now tuned for remote 64bit hosts?

I currently am running Exchange 2007 on Windows 2003 R2 x64 using Backup Exec 11D build 7170 (this is the build that supports EX 2007). Before this build I had to have NTBackup backup the store then backup that file using Backup Exec.
But there are requirements that need to be in place (I found this out through the Symantec tech support).

The back up service account needs to be an Exchange Admin, Domain Admin, and have an email box that you cannot hide. If these aren't in place you will get an access is denied when your job completes.

Just giving my experience.
