Backups held up for a week!!!!

Currently we are backing up 9TB worth of data on a weekly full and running incrementals during the week.

The fulls usually finish over the weekend but the aux copy takes over a week to finish.

Spool copies are set up.

Whenever the next weekend comes around for a full backup the jobs stay at pending waiting for the aux copy to finish.

THis is a new environment and ive tried to make some changes but nothing seems to be working

I would look closely at your data to see what may not need to be backed up on a weekly basis(if any) and archived off. I was able to cut my weekly fulls down by not backing a volume which data only changes on a monthly basis and setup a storage policy that backs up this data only on a monthly basis.

have you got your aux copy configured to use all drives?
