Have BackupExec 9.0 installed on Windows 2000 Clustered Server. BackupExec has it's own partition for storing catalogs. During the nightly local (non-network) backups, we always recieve a BackupExec Catalogs Warning, see example below. Usually theres 4 catalogs recieving this warning.
Example:
WARNING: "\\servername\veritas\BackupExec\Catalogs\(A523D102-EFC0-4DA6-AFD6-00EE8DB9ADEC}.U01" is a corrupt file.
I have researched and can't find any tech doc on why this Warning occurs. I imagine because the catalogs are open, but why would they (Veritas) not have a tech doc or something telling you this is ok, or not.
I've been able to restore files and directories, but am puzzled about this Warning.
Thanks to all in advance.
