I used to take backup evryday night using task scheduler in win NT4.0 to backup in 4/8 GB tape. It worked fine till my database size 7GB since it is used to backup in one tape. Now database size is increased and it is supposed to backup in two tapes. So once one tape is backed up it should give a message to load second tape. But I am not getting this message , when I come next day morning Backup hangs an dI need to kill using task manager.
I was using task scheduler from IE5.
I tried scheduler from Rescource kit but no success.I dont know why I don't get message for second tape when I do unattended backup?
Any ideas and suggestions would be appreciated.

Nothing like a database getting too big for its britches...

Instead of worrying about multiple tapes, i'd get an external (or internal if you can) DLT drive. Standard is 40/80GB and for your size of backup job you'd have plenty of space with no worries mon!
