Hi,
We just started backing up to a file system device instead of a tape device. It works great with the exception of I no longer have an off-site backup now since I used to store our full backups off-site. I know about the tapecopy command where I could copy my data to a tape but is there a way I could copy the previous days sessions to a mapped drive on another server off-site? Thanks in advance for any help.

How to set it up so it automaticaly copies the previous days backup to the off-site server after the nightly backup has finished??

I can only guess there is something you are not telling because there is no trick to setting up a copy job. Just select the source, destination and scheduling as you want.

Yep, I know how to setup a copy job but the piece I'm missing is my backup writes to a different folder each night. After the backup is finished I want to copy only the folder the new backup is in to the remote location. I'm not sure how to specify the change in folder location each day in a copy job.

Well there you go the missing data.

Either setup a different copy job for each day or setup one job for the parent directory and a filter to copy files created/modified, or whatever you like within 1 day.
