Thank you for the quick response.
The DLL's I am using are those from the patch:
asbackup.dll, 466944, 11.12.2001 17:57:06
aslog.dll, 200704, 11.12.2001 17:57:06
astask.dll, 172032, 11.12.2001 17:57:05
DvConfig.exe,1273856, 11.12.2001 17:57:04
rmsetup.dll, 28672, 11.12.2001 17:57:05
RmSetup6x.dll, 69632, 18.01.2002 20:37:54
tapeeng.dll, 598016, 11.12.2001 17:57:04
But may be there is another problem: My ARCserve is in German, and the patch is only available in English so far.
The whole operation of the device manager looks fine (mixed languages, of course), only the error message when I finally want to erase, format, or write to, is the problem.
I am using a directory on a local disk of the ARCserve Server PC as the destination. Is there anything wrong about that?
The device is shown in the branch "<3> CA FSadapter" like a tape, entitled "FS name", and commented "format unreadable" (because is is not formatted yet). Any ideas?
