Hi All,

I have been using a Backup to disk to tape system for a while now and it's been very successful, however more recently i've seen my backup folders get bigger and bigger. It appears that Backup Exec is not overwriting the Backup Files but instead creating new ones, I have even created erase jobs to run first before the backup jobs but still the problem occurs.

Has anyone suffered with this or can anyone give any pointers as to what might cause it because try as I might I cannot get the folders back to normal size and its starting to impact my backup reliability.

I'm using Backup Exec 10.

Many Thanks in advance

Jez.
