Backup stops at 651kb

Hi all

I am running BE 9.1 on Windows Server 2000. Every now and then at complete random times, types of backups and different tapes, the backup will start and then stop at 651kb. It will continue to say "RUNNING" but doesn't go any further. After cancelling the job and restarting it, it works fine. I can't place my finger on it and I haven't been able to find any info anywhere on the web (including the Veritas site).

Any help/ideas is greatly appreciated.

Are there any alerts? (Check the alert tab).

Have you looked for any messages in the Windows Event Viewer logs (especially the Application and System logs)?

Check the job log - did you restore job right bofore that job hangs?
