Backup restore cancel

I have tried to restore a file off a media disc but have entered the wrong disc. I think the correct disc for the restore file I started has been lost.
When I mouse right clicked and tried to cancel the restore the software has qeuwed (or however you spell it!) the restore waiting to find the media tape which I havnt got.
Anyone any idea please on how to delete a restore without having the tape?

Right clicking and selecting CANCEL usually works, but not right away. You might have to give it a while.

or you could just cancel the backup exec services using either the software or in the services window of the machine it is installed on.
