Backup remote machine different domain

I am trying to backup data from domain b, the server is on domain a. I can connect via ip, but, on selection list, i cannot input an ip, it is browse network or local. I have mapped a netwok drive to the remote data, but veritas will not let me see it to pick it. I am using w2k server, and veritas 9.1.

Ideas?

In the selections screen choose User defined selections and add the IP address there.
