Backup Question

I am putting together my budget for this year, I am planning on upgrading to Windows 200 Svr. All of my Windows 2000 servers currently have Arcserve 2000 on them. Before I go out and purchase all of the upgrades to Arcserve 11 I was going to do some research. I searched this forum and found out that alot of people are using NT Backup to even backup Exchange. I am trying to go away from using tapes and backup to NAS servers, I have had alot of bad luck with tapes recently. Can anyone tell me to stick with the Arcserve solution or go with the NT backup solution?

I like Arcserve. I've had bad experiences with MS backup. And if you are getting away from tapes, don't forget to address how to get your backups off site.

Thanks, I was thinking the same thing about getting the backups off site. I think I may keep the tapes but have them backup the NAS servers. Has anyone done this?
