Hi there
It's been a while now, and after searching for a long time without result this is my last hope in finding a solution. Here's the issue:
I work with SBS2003 and have a REV drive attached on USB 2.0. I use NTBackup for backing up the server data (Iomega backup program doesn't work too well). The backup is scheduled every night at 10.00PM and I call a BAT file with the command for backup. About 2 or 3 times a week, the backup hangs. When I look in the morning, the cmd window is still open with the command in it. When I look in the processes, ntbackup.exe is running, but the backup has not been created.
When I call iOmega support, they don't want to help me because I'm using NTBackup instead of their software, and Microsoft doesn't want to help me because it's a problem on the REV drive according to them. Well this doesn't help me any further.
I hope there's someone here that recognises the problem and can help me.
Thanks
Steven
