Hi,

I have Netbackup 3.4 with patch level 3.4_4A on HP_UX.

One of the backups on one of our clients has went "crazy"!
The backup is on ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES.
For this client (W2K client) we have almost all the disks in the exclude.
Lately I've noticed that the backup is taking to long but it's speed is the same, so I tryed to run it in multistream to see what is really running...
What I found was ... the backup is running on a disk that is in the exclude list!!!
I double checked everything and nothing in the defenitions seems wrong...
:(

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

What is the exclude that is not being excluded? Being a W2K system can you copy and post the value to key:
HKLM/software/veritas/netbackup/currentversion/config/exclude

Also tell me what the policy/class/schedule is that is supposed to exclude the drive.

We found the problem:
In HKLM/software/veritas/netbackup/currentversion/config/exclude
The Software created 2 exclude lists on the same class name,
The first one was a full and correct list, the seconed one was coruppted.
The OS used the seconed one....
I have no idea how can somthing like this happen...
But we already opened a case with our supporting company to check it out.

Thanks!!!! :)
